ST. THOMAS, VIRGIN ISLANDS, December 15, 2025 – The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) men's basketball team is set to travel to West Palm Beach, Florida, to participate in the 2025 Seahawk Christmas Classic at the Keiser Flagship Campus on Massimino Court.
This tournament will feature four National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) universities: Olivet Nazarene University, Morningside University, UVI, and the host institution, Keiser University.
UVI will face Morningside University from Sioux City, Iowa, in their opening match. The Mustangs, with an 8-4 overall record and a 6-0 record in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), are on a six-game winning streak. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST on December 16.
On the second day of the tournament, December 17, the Buccaneers will compete against Olivet Nazarene University (8-2, 5-0 CCAC), a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference based in Bourbonnais, Illinois, who are also on a six-game winning streak.

The Buccaneers currently hold a 1-2 record in neutral-site games and aim to improve their standing. During their last visit to Massimino Court, they split two games at the Keiser Thanksgiving Tournament, securing a victory against Florida National University and narrowly losing to Keiser University.
