The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Lady Buccaneers capped off their 2026 season at the HBCU Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held April 30–May 1 at Lee Hodges Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) women’s track and field team turned in a pair of notable individual improvements Friday at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic, led by freshman Pilar Swinson and sophomore Londyn Hall against a large field that included more than 20 NCAA Division I, II and III programs, along with NAIA schools.

The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) men’s and women’s track and field teams kicked off their 2024 season this past weekend at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic, held from April 3-5 at the Embry-Riddle Track and Field Complex in Daytona Beach, Florida. The meet featured institutions from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, II, and III, as well as National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) institutions.
